Rod Taylor, Colleen Miller and Charles Drake are the key performers in Harry Keller's STEP DOWN TO TERROR, a reworking of the Gordon McDonnel story so successfully rendered originally by Alfred Hitchcock and Thornton Wilder in SHADOW OF A DOUBT (1943). Not up to the level of that film, of course, but not bad at all...

Another of the long-unavailable noir/noirish films from Universal in the late 50s now available in restored versions thanks to the ongoing Kino series (IIRC, this is included in Volume XIII, released earlier this year.)
