Eddie screened this film in 2014, and it makes sense that with a new 4K version in hand, it could get a reprise at NC 21. Such would keep the "relationship pattern" between his international noir efforts and those presented by MCP (that's Midcentury Productions, for you not playing along at home...) pretty much intact: the officially sanctioned "rarities" play at NC, while the really "lost" films play at FRENCH 23, RARE NOIR, etc.

Of course, not meaning to cast aspersions on VICTIMAS DEL PECADO: you really can't go wrong with Ninon Sevilla. We certainly didn't this past August, with our screening of AVENTURERA (once more celebrated than VICTIMAS, but no longer).
