Don and I had many discussions about what films to pick, to pair up, and then tried to find the best print quality available with English subs. For those in the Bay Area who plan on attending the Rare Noir screenings you will not be disappointed by any of the films. They range from very good to staggeringly great.The three that held the biggest surprises for me were The Beast Shall Die with Nakadai’s handsome amoral “hero”, and Passport for a Corpse (sort of a noir/horror amalgam),and The Fear(O Fovos), both of which have endings that you are not ever going to forget. Run, don't walk to get the last remaining seats.
