Absolutely, Mark! When ChiBob and I spent some back-and-forth time concocting a "trailing edge of noir" lineup, PIT STOP was featured at the tail end of the (mostly) chronological sequence we put together.

Don't know if such a series can be programmed these days, particularly the noir-exploitation subgroup that crops up in the mid60s (some of which would certainly go under the rubric of "roughies" that we discussed some years back), but hopefully somebody will give a try at some point. For all the reasons you mention, PIT STOP is a must for that.
