Glenn Erickson is indeed a fine critic, one of the few active today whose work I look forward to.
As I have mentioned before, I like James Harvey’s books. And a voice whose silencing I very much regret is Danny Peary of Cult Movies fame, who hasn’t published a film book in 30 years. But I guess the market for those is not what it once was.
