Fred MacMurray...Kim Novak...Phil Carey...Dorothy Malone...a damn fine film to watch on your computer at 3am when you can't sleep. Moody, relentlessly nocturnal, with slow, coiling plot complications that feel like real life--the type of real life that alienated law enforcement types and the riffraff they run in should have known enough to avoid...but the girl is just too damn alluring...
