Monty Cole, the director who masterminded the world premiere of Adrienne Kennedy's "Etta & Ella on the Upper West Side" in 2021, touches upon film noir, Hitchock, and Kennedy's love of classic Hollywood as he discusses how he approach to staging the play--which is playing at CalArts' REDCAT Theatre in Los Angeles this weekend.
Hoping that someone will film this in some form, as it sounds very intriguing.
