As the subject line says. Criterion continues to milk the ultra-well known titles for new sales with this upcoming reissue, which rather shockingly does not find room for Curtiz maven/expert Alan Rode in the bonus materials. (One ray of hope: there doesn't seem to be a listing for a commentary track, only a "conversation" between Molly Haskell and Robert Polito...how extended that might be is not specified.)
Imogen Smith and Eddie Muller, who appeared together for a chat about DOUBLE INDEMNITY when Criterion initiated its "ca-ching" approach to the iconic titles of American noir, are each present here as well, but separately this time: Eddie's 2006 interview with Ann Blyth is one of the video extras, and Imogen is apparently writing the booklet essay.
