It's not a great film by anyone's standards, but the subject matter is more topical than is usually the case (black market subversions in post-WWII China, reminding us that such was a world-wide issue in the often-troubled second half of the 1940s). This one is on par with several of Raft's more substantial efforts in this time frame--NOCTURNE, RACE STREET, and RED LIGHT--so if you've not seen it, give it a look...
