The late writer Charles Beaumont not only wrote the novel this was based on and the screenplay for the film as well, he and a couple of his fellow genre writer friends (William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson) played parts in THE INTRUDER...
Beaumont played the high school principal; I've not tried to identify the parts played by his fellow writers, who'd been part of Beaumont's "stable" of collaborators during his heyday as a key contributor to THE TWILIGHT ZONE. (Johnson and Nolan would later collaborate on the original source novel that spawned notable 70s sci-fi thriller LOGAN'S RUN (1976), which spawned a short-lived TV series several year later.
