Not the Oscars (yet), but a possible sign that things are in uptick mode for NIGHTMARE ALLEY, which has been put back into an additional 900 theaters this weekend in the wake of Scorsese's pitch.
The four films in the Writers' Guild Association's "Best Adapted Screenplay" category along with NIGHTMARE ALLEY are: CODA, DUNE, TICK...TICK...BOOM!, and WEST SIDE STORY.
