Just how "lost" this film has been is, of course, open to interpretation, as it has been known here (and discussed in several lively threads) for many years. And the film was screened at Noir City in 2008 with Joan Leslie in attendance. At IMDB, it has much more attention than the rest of the restoration projects undertaken by the FNF and similar entities that have been popping up over the past decade.
At any rate, it's a sumptuous package, with lavish (possibly even a bit over-the-top) extras, including a history of Eagle-Lion Studios that seems somewhat out of place in the lineup...that said, it leads to an idea that Alan Rode and his sidekicks might want to pursue as a one-off festival to screen in their digs at the American Legion Theatre--a look at the intercontinental noir created by Eagle-Lion (which was originally a British film company).
Looking things over at IMDB, one's struck by what an interesting collision of films would be possible using such an approach. Take a look:

Though it was a short-lived enterprise, Eagle-Lion released more than 40 noirs during its lifespan and a large percentage of them are worthy of an appearance in a "studio retrospective." If a full "inventory presentation" isn't feasible, a festival equivalent in scope to the schedule lengths in SF, LA, and DC seems eminently supportable.
