…but elsewhere there are rumblings that the “sci-fi neo-noir” is beset by many problems, from plot holes to lack of chemistry between its stars (Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson). Those of you with HBO+ will be able to decide for yourselves starting on Friday, when REMINSENCE (the first feature film from WESTWORLD mastermind Lisa Joy will be available for streaming. (The film will also open in theatres on the same day.)
An ominous tidbit that might be “omenous”—WB, the studio backing the production of REMINISCENCE, apparently refused to provide public screenings for the media prior to the film’s release date. That might just be an “uh-oh” moment…
