As I noted previously, it is shocking to watch "Appointment with Danger" back to back with "The Original Gangstas." What a difference forty plus years makes in terms of location shooting in Gary, Indiana.

Gary's Union Station figures prominently in both movies. It was a working railroad station in the Alan Ladd feature and a stylish abandoned building occupied by street criminals in the exploitation film.

Of course, "Appointment with Danger" is a sort of follow up to "Chicago Deadline" which was another filmed on location feature.
