TCM eons ago showed some Mexican films that I recorded. It wasn't a noir festival, however; most were not. They showed
Ahi esta el Detalle (1940)
Ansiedad (1953)
Bugambilia (945)
Calabacitas Tiernas (1949)
Dona Barbara (1943)
Dos Tipas de Cuidado (1953)
El Compadre Mendoza (1934)
Enamorada (1946)
La Cucaracha (1959)
Macario (1960)
Maria Candelaria (1944)
Pepe el Toro (1953)
Vamonos con Pancho Villa (1936)
La Perla (1947)
Other sources than tcm, mainly internet and trades) have provided a few more Mexican movies, again noir only in part, like
Victamas Del Pacado (1951) on dvd
Salon Mexico (1948) on dvd
Aventurera (1950) on dvd
Sensualidad (1951)
La Otra (1946)
La diosa arrodillarda (1947)
La cobarde (1953)
El ojo de cristal (1956)
El hombre y el monstruo (1959)
Crespusculo (1945)
Camino del Infierno (1951)
A Different Dawn (1943)(Distinto amanecer)
En la palma de tu mano (1951)
Los peces rojos (1955)
There are a few more from Bunuel not listed.
I also cannot recall the name of a fine horror movie involving a lone girl, keys that unlock a big door to a mansion, inside is a locked room. These keys have been thrown out from the inside, the only way to unlock the door. The girl's car has broken down and she made her away up to the house, beuatifully photographed at night. What's the name of this?? It's about late 50s.
