Ms. Moreno, who’s 28, has the passion and the range to become a major force in the suddenly fragile world of repertory cinema. Her commitment to bringing audiences together for the essential collective experience of film will have to be held in abeyance for awhile, but hopefully she will be given a platform to rescue us from “cinema isolation” sooner than later.
