I deleted Under Suspicion (1991) and added You Were Never Really Here (2017). Really, at this point, it's hard for me to delete anything. A lot of stalwart neo-noirs are in the wings. However, I hadn't seen the Joaquin Phoenix movie until last night and it's a very strong neo-noir that makes full use of the techniques. It's received several awards. It happens to tell a timely story in view of the Jeffrey Epstein case. It's based upon a 2013 novella. By then public materials were available to form a basis for imagining a story like this.
