I enjoyed watching Trapped on TCM. I thought I'd seen it before but I didn't remember it. The only strange part is when Lloyd Bridges' character was written out of the climax, and Barbara Payton's character was unceremoniously shot before the final scenes were played out.
Eddie Muller explained in his post-airing wrap-up that, as the story goes, Bridges may have been ill and instead of waiting for his recovery, producer Bryan Foy had him written out of the story to stay on schedule and budget. Payton's hasty exit seemed much more strange.
