Any foundation is well-advised to do what you suggest that FNF do, which is to report its activities in detail and act more like a company that intends to use the funds at its disposals in the manner that it purports to when it raises them.
As for the Argentine switch, that is a fruitful area. One recent one I watched is Rosaura a la 10 (1958) in a clear widescreen print. This gets mostly excellent reviews, and it's listed as noir by Selby or Spicer, which it most definitely is. This is an impressive movie.
