Hi Matty,
The photo you posted of TOTEM that is dated 17 September 1945 was taken in Port Philip Bay on her post VJ Day 'good will tour'.
There are several other press photos taken the same day that are easy to find on the internet. TOTEM visited Geelong and Melbourne on this date.
I have collected a lot of material about TOTEM over the years as my late father was First Lieutenant from November 1944 to December 1945.
