Thus, now to unload the "other barrel", as mentioned: on deck right now there'a also an improved TBF/TBM Avenger:
With these (and the new WildCats) you can now better than ever, portray either Hornet or Enterprise, post-Midway: notably, from Guadalcanal/Santa Cruz. Indeed, along with my 500-scale SB2C HellDivers, you can set your sights on seriously accurizing the Lindberg 1:525-scale WWII straight-decked Essex-class CV, as well. (Let's add that one to my "Challenge", while we're at it! ) In my next round of WWII-aircraft/improvements the HellDivers will surely also receive molded-in landing gear - and plans also include the creation of a really decent F6F HellCat, to replace (in particular) the cruddy Lindberg ones.
Finally, while I'm shamelessly plugging Matt Stein Models (see: I told you I was feeling better!), allow me to remind One and All that likewise in-stock are currently all the Mk37 Directors, Quad-40mms and/or (as you already know of course, vastly-improved) Single-5inch Open-Mount guns needed (to one degree or another) to accurize any of the above, as well.
Quick shout-out to Donny: "What am I doing this weekend?" I'm working on all this sh** - what else?!! (Bring us some pics, buddy!)
OK Daniel, will let you go now - and although I don't know exactly what "caipirinhas" are (unless maybe young girls from Chiapas, swarming like a bunch of little Piranhas ), it sounds like you had just a Great Visit here, buddy. Safe Trip back Across the Pond, and of course do stay in touch, sir!
Cheers,
- Matty in 'Merica
