So sorry I'm not going to be able to join you there in Miami - which is pretty close (especially compared to Switzerland

)! I caught some kind of "Two-Day" Flu this week, and it (along with some other, unexpected emergencies last week) put me
really behind - on everything - so that I wasn't able to block out the time, nor make any arrangements (to stay overnight) in Miami.
Instead, I'm going to have to "cram", this weekend: to get on with re-stocking with some newly re-mastered aircraft, particularly these:

Click on Image to EnlargeAt left, an improved-version 500-scale TBD Devastator, and at right, a (yet further) improved F4F WildCat, also in 1:500 scale. Note these (masters) both have fully-constructed landing gear: the castings will come with landing gear already molded-in! The sub-masters (also a set for an improved-version TBF/TBM Avenger) have already been cast, and the (seemingly miraculous) landing-gear-casting
works! I'll make an "official" post about these, sometime soon.
Now Daniel, I know you're not (at least, so far not) a big fan of the WWII carriers - but these are going to be just dynamite on the old, classic Revell "Battle of Midway" kits, in particular - and accordingly I've got a
truckload of new and repeat customers, eagerly awaiting them - and now I've fallen (even further) behind, in getting them out. And it looks like I'm going to have to miss you and Miami this time, buddy.
Also - since I only (apparently) recovered just last night, from whatever it is that I had - I wouldn't want to risk a relapse, partying (in the equatorial heat) on the beach - not to mention possibly giving you any contagion, to take back onto the plane for Switzerland: that would
not be very friendly…

.
So, say "hi" to all the (basically naked) girls on the beach, for me - sounds like your entire visit will finish up outstanding, in every way - and Y'All Come Back Real Soon, buddy!
Cheers,
- Matty in Florida
