I did notice - vaguely at first, in the back of my mind - that Nichimo had some very light indications of flood-holes under the bow and stern of their Type IX u-boat - where Revell/Monogram (and of course Aurora) never had, on any of theirs. But those arrays of flood-holes - particularly on the Type IXs, and particularly around the stern - are some of the most intricate and interesting details to be found on any sub, anywhere.
Coincidentally, I was just wondering about the flood-hole pattern on the RN subs I'm building: the WWII S-class and (especially my larger) T-class. Anybody have any leads to good drawings - or pics, even of other models - which look like they're accurate?
Cheers,
-Matt
