Re: Got caught building at work - oops
Work is the curse of the model-building class! I know how easy it is to get roped in, but have always found commission builds to be least enjoyable of my model experiences. I tend to drag my feet to the point that, eventually, I feel guilty that I am not working solely on the commission. Then, because I have lost the zeal for the build (if I had any to begin with)I tend to avoid the bench altogether in lieu of encountering the conscience conflict. Then nothing gets done, my projects wither on the vine, I get crankier than usual and still, like the proverbial albatross around my neck, the commission build looms darkly...casting a pall over my spirit, not to mention my sorely neglected stash. But, hey! Good luck with all those Abrams...perhaps you can do them in some assembly line fashion. Speaking of Nimitz, Phil Fuss is nearing completion on his 1/700 vision of that venerable flat-top and will be undoubtedly posting pix soon. Happy modelling!
