On the other hand, you do have to concede there is about zero appearance of any wake - she basically has no headway on, at all - so my original advice is still technically "serviceable".
If I had to guess, I'd say this is a picture of swim call - the only time I've ever seen a ship (and I was on it) come to a complete stop, on the open sea. Or if not, then for some other stationary activity, of which I haven't a clue!
