You like the
gold (Canadian "Maple Leaf") one? But I was particularly thinking of
you when I arranged the
silver one - figuring only a neumismatist like yourself would know it was only the
1964 (Kennedy) half-dollars that were a full, 90% silver. Each of those coins is today worth almost $10 for its silver content alone - that's a
real inflation rate of 2,000% - 20x - since 1964! (Did you know that gold and silver are the
only money authorized by the Constitution of the United States of America? What Roosevelt did, by confiscating gold in 1933, and Nixon, by taking the dollar completely off gold and silver, by 1971, were both completely illegal. And Wall Street could never have dug us into the hole we're in today, if that single line in The Constitution had simply been obeyed.) Ooops - I'm waxing patriotic, here...
Thanks for the kudos on my Boxer tidbits, Donny!
Cheers,
-Matty
