I like your "Rusty Kiri" paint splotches. It looks like an excellent little kit - I've always liked the lines of these CBs. And that's interesting to see this (basically) WWI-vintage design compared side-by-side against Washington, the newest (or close to it?) battleship in the world, at the time. No wonder the "K" got klobbered!

That Tamiya Indianapolis is an even nicer-looking kit, from what can be seen. Except for the 5" gun mounts - though the guns themselves look about perfect - the mounts look quite odd to me. Maybe a design for the earlier CAs that I never saw before...?
