Great (and humorous) insights into the Trumpeter kit, Donny. I too never dreamed the meshed props would turn so smoothly - thanks for the tip about pre-fitting, and following the instructions. And I can also relate to the folded/unfolded wings conundrum - the single biggest holdup in my own aircraft building, as I'm trying to make them all moveable. Maybe I should just copy you: build 'em now - and try to work out the wing-folding later on...
Also, I appreciate the "dime-store masking tape" - particularly after I was just sold on (at twice the price) some "perfect" masking tape - supposed to leave a perfectly smooth, straight edge - and I'm sure it does. But, once at home, I encountered its one problem: the sh** doesn't stick to plastic!
BTW Donny, where are you storing all these - did you take over the kids' bedrooms? Seriously though, are you building these for other people, or how are you storing all these models, Don?
This is a great submission to ModelFleet, and we're juiced to have her, Don!
