Looks like your 700-scale parts box has (perhaps long ago) reached a "critical mass" - where all you need, for about any ship, is just to come up with the hull and main deck! My 500-scale parts box is exactly like that - except almost all the detail parts from those '60s-era kits aren't good enough to suit me, anymore! (And anyway, I would want to show off Matty's Models' upgrades, in any current build(s).)

Don, it would be very interesting to see you list off (if you can possibly remember) each kit that each part came from. I could pretty much do that for most of my earlier builds - and I will do it, when I can get around to giving each a refit, with (greatly) upgraded parts.

Meantime, your creativity is, as always, great to see, buddy! What ever posessed you to build an "M"-class DD - and Early Cold War fit, at that?
