Someone told me once that the louder someone shouts against someone or something, the more they fear it.
Every time SP's name comes up, boy the nattering nabobs of negativity come out of the woodwork. They look for the least flattering photos of her they can find to post. When I say 'they' I mean the Big Three network media, i.e. the propoganda committee of the DNC.
The WORST thing they can say about her is that she is not Madison Avenue polished in her speech or dress. I mean the GOP decided to 'spruce' her up a bit with a wardrobe that cost 5 figures. She didn't have to spend her money . They even got some 'nice' clothes for the kids and husband for the publicity shots. But to hear NBCBSABC tell it she was spending government money. It was the GOP's money to spend any way they darn well pleased. Tell me that Micky O buys all her own clothes and I'll call you a liar. Sara dresses like a working mother, which she is. She's got a family (with a husband)
with the usual family problems.
But do you think the GOP would DEFEND her? Heck no, they didn't even want to run McCain, let alone a little known mayor-come-governor who says what she means, kicks political a** and takes names. The GOP had better get their house in order or we have all participated in our LAST presidential election.
One thing that impressed me was that SNL's Tina Fey was portraying her (not a bad likeness), in sometimes not so flattering a light, Palin actually got on stage with her. "All right, you're gonna parody me, you're going to do it to my face." LOVED that episode. Pretty much took the wind out of Fey's sails.
That and she can kill and field dress a moose, then fry it up in a pan.
Palin in '16? You bet. If the GOP gets behind her and let's her be Sarah, there'll be no stopping her. Who does the other side have to run?
Alaska should run her for a Legislative seat. That way she would get plenty of exposure.
Another "R" I'd like to see run in '12 is Bobby Jindal for Louisiana.
