Local buisnessman Fred Goss of Goss Cleaners is unhappy and very concerned about a recent desicion by Morelli's Diner to start adding cleaning solvent to it's gravy.
Mr. Goss said this will have an adverse effect on his business and feels a conspiracy is taking place. The announcement by Morelli's comes on the heels of a new strain of grass seed being sold at Beasley's Hardware that eliminates grass stains in pants.
Mr. Goss claims this has resulted in a nearly 50% reduction in business.
All of this follows a change 3 months ago at the Grand where a new butterless popcorn is now being sold.
Mr. Goss notes that Al Becker is the propieter of both Morelli's and The Grand, and is a second cousin to Charlie Beasley who owns Beasley Hardware.
Mr. Goss also claims Becker and Beasley are looking to start their own dry cleaning store.
Al Becker was unavailable for comments.
