Work rate, press and confidence

A few players seem to have really upped their game effort wise and look fitter too. Jones and Palmer both seem to be putting more of a shift in, the latter looking really good out on the left which is a curveball!
Marshall makes some excellent runs in behind and opens up our attacking threat in a different way. He’s such a nuisance and has to start every game.
Lots of other ver my positive performances where confidence is growing - Donley, Richards, Mads, etc.
I like this new intermittent press - we seem to be playing higher up the pitch in moments, winning it and then playing more positively forward. Something is clicking with that style and seems like Wilshire is both learning and pushing higher standards.
Palmer had strapping on one of knees at the start of the season, doesn’t have it now so maybe was carrying a minor injury that was affecting him (think he picked it up in second half at Reading)
However, we now have 2 away games coming up. And we haven't been very good away from KR, aside from Wycombe and that superb 2nd half at Reading. We'll know where we really are this time next week
But, all of a sudden, it's looking much more positive, with us playing at a higher tempo and pressing well
Towards the end last night, can't remember if it was at 2-0 or 3-0, he went on a run, lost the ball around halfway and got back to recover the danger. Not always seen that sort of attitude from him.
Also no fannying around at goal kicks straight up the field snd much more direct in passing forwards where possible, Big improvement especially players running at speed towards opponents who have the ball and forcing errors.
