    Wilshere - a coach, not a manager

He doesn’t have what it takes. The talent is in this group. I’m sure he does all the correct ‘drills’ on the training ground but on matchday you have to make the right calls at the right time. You have to be bold and decisive. Kinnear, Still, Jones. These are MANAGERS. This guy just does not have what it takes. When the talent clicks and the players go on a roll like last year then all well and good but a great manager figures out the problem when it’s not clicking. When have we ever ground out a win when we’ve played poorly? The man is clueless when things don’t go his way. Get rid of Sweet as well.

Tactically inexperienced and at times naive. Been found out by the experienced managers in this league for example Nigel Clough. So you have to ask the question what is Powells role, the experienced head in the coaching team? I remember Powell asking the fans to give Wilshere time but it’s been a year now and very little progress. Not entirely sure if sacking Wilshere is the answer but they certainly need to start making a difference otherwise we’re back to the toxic atmosphere and bad feeling at the club which is quite frankly depressing.

The next 3 games at home will make or break Wilshire. Get at least 7 points he stays any less and it will be pitchforks again and no choice but to sack him.

Where's this talent you speak of, can't keep the ball, weak all over the pitch, very little threat up front.
I struggle to see how any player today would get into the 2019 team!

Agree. I don't think the problem is matchday management, I think it's an unbalanced squad short of pace and physicality. It's a mid-table League One team that will look decent sometimes, and other times lose to absolutely shite opponents like today.

Have to agree. Whenever we come up against an experienced manager Wilshere is out of his depth, rarely changes anything in game until the 70th minute or later and then mostly it's like for like

Can't disagree. We need a Warnock type of figure not some Jack the lad, still in his nappies playing at managing arsenal.
