Heard he was unwell. Does anyone know how he is doing? Or should I say, does anyone remember him? I certainly do. Played for the Hatters and later became a minister at the church on Castle Street.

He use to manage Christians fc. I met and pitted my wits against him numerous times. I managed a team in the same league.
A true gent and a great player who was underated. I hope he is ok and wish him a quick recovery.

He was also the club chaplain for several years.
I know that he wasn't too well several years ago.

A very classy player for us - he was in the side when I first started going. Trying to remember his song. I have a feeling it went something like "Alan, Alan, Alan West..." but can't remember the tune! Memories fade, of course. Get well soon Alan
