Doesn't seem to have the confidence or maybe a trick to take a full back on, maybe he is told not to. When he does get in a position to cross on his left foot he rarely gets it past the first defender. Plus the fact a good wind would blow him over!
Although not Kodua's best position his physicality wins every time for me over Lawrence as that left sided option.

Fair enough. I found him to be ineffectual in attack. He did track back well in 2nd half to defend on one occasion but going forwards he struggled to get any crosses in except a couple that went nowhere plus one wild one which I think was actually a shot that went out for a goal kick. At one stage he was even out muscled. I did notice they seemed to double up on him but he didn't want to take them on, just opted for an overly safe pass back most of the time. I'll try to give him a bit more benefit of the doubt though.

Young lad, who had no real preseason, also known to take a time to get going too, so we chuck him in the deep end again, just to make sure his confidence really hits rock bottom.

Needs to deal with his confidence issue if that's what it is then. Football is a harsh environment, it's in his own interests to sort himself out because at the moment he is going nowhere playing like this.
