Wilshere has learned nothing in 12 months

Unfortunately any new manager would have to wait until January to rectify the situation. How many times do we have to go through this process ?
I didn't see yesterday's game but my thoughts on Jack and our recent form are largely that JW has learned how football is supposed to be played through coaching school rather than worked out what his football actually is.
I always remember Newell criticising the coaching badges which I think he dropped out of because he was being asked to write a report on how he'd manage a club in administration when he was actually doing it in real life. There is obviously a disconnect between coaching badges and the real life grit of League One and JW doesn't seem to quite recognise that.
Buzzard described him as paint by numbers which I thought was very apt. He seems to have all the tippy-tappy coaching principles in his head but when things don't go to plan he doesn't seem able to move away from them. We just try to force the game back into the shape the coaching manual says it should have.
To follow the analogy he needs to learn to paint outside the lines. Quickly. I doubt he'll be here for Christmas if he can't become more pragmatic.
It's all very well saying we're building something but we need some tangible evidence of it. Other clubs with far less are managing to build effective teams quicker and more effectively. That's what makes this so frustrating.
In my youth team and junior team managing experience which are limited, i always hated drills . Knocks the fun out of the game for those that play for fun .Newell wasn't wrong.
He’s wasted so many hours, days, even weeks, writing garbage here that most skip and no one takes seriously. Just imagine what he could have done with all that time…
