Don't be daft. Just abandon this completely mental sideways and backwards, recycling the ball culture and use the Wing Backs to look to go FORWARD down the wings and through the centre. Stop coaching the young players to maintain possession at all costs (bloody Stats merchants) and pass backwards continually. To be fair, we are missing Clark badly and we over rely on Walsh.

We have to give Wilshere time either way but many a manager have failed by sticking too rigidly to a system/style. Our only good manager of the last decade changed style when it was right to do so. He's come into a club that is in free fall and it'll take some time to turn round. Wilshere might be the man. He might not be. If he isn't, that'll be another failure of an appt by the club
