They have spent about a billion pounds we have spent £50 badly. The days when you could get stuck in on a shit pitch are long gone. Personally thought we played really well .. dont get me wrong they were the way better team but of course they would be . Same attitude for the rest of the season we will definitely be in the mix .. think Jones is a wrong un which is a shame as he has talent .

Agreed, except on Jones - I thought he did fine on his weaker side when he came on. That said, Ashby was mustard tonight, probably our MotM, so if he starts in the league instead of Jones, fair enough.

Jones was way too predictable. He never once went outside his man and whip in a cross. He's a professional footballer, he should be able to whip the ball into the box from either foot.
But some absolute sterling performances out there tonight including: Keeley, Johnson, Johnstone, Ashby, Walsh, Fox, and Marshall. Some flashes of brilliance from Palmer followed by some shocking passes.
Overall excellent from everyone though.

Thing that stood out for me was our players attitude. Every single one of them gave 110%. Far better than what we've witnessed last couple of years. Chelsea are a different gravy on the pitch though. But they can stuck their half n half scarves, their shit day trippers support, their lauding of a proven nonce and their McDonald's style concourse serving up their arse. They are a shining example if everything that is wrong with modern football. Anyway, decent evening out. Fairs to 'club 1885' smashing it pre match again aswell.
