Tough game

The games against newly promoted teams are always tough. County as expected were right up for it and had nothing to lose. We are still a work in progress and it shows, particularly in defence. Still early season and like most teams need time to find our rhythm, which I believe we will.

We are going to face a lot of that this season at home, agree we are a work in progress. Hopefully we can bring in a left wing back this week to give us better down that flank both defensively and in attack.

Impressed with their shape, togetherness and graft. They will be right up there this season. Horrid to play against.
If we had drawn v Reading and won today we’d be delighted with our start.
The ref missed a blatant hand ball though, the standard of officials has to improve.
Marshall’s turn and finish by the way! He’s going to be a massive bonus.
