It is a forum, to discuss decisions made. We got lucky with one, they got lucky with another.

Why would you want to post a photo showing our equaliser shouldn’t have counted? We won enjoy it!

Yeah how about their 3rd goal.

          Blatant push on Naismith

That push on Naismith was an appalling decision by the officials.

In this photo you can't see the whole pitch . . .

But that's before the ball is kicked. There's more movement after that.

Its just after the ball was kicked. I couldnt pause it at the exact poinr when he kicked it. He was actually further offside when he kicked it.

The decision is, inconclusive proof. Goal Stands.

Exact point Richards passed it. Proof enough now? 😉

Yep offside. That lino was useless all game, absolutely blatant push for reading goal, and gave a corner with ball half way over line.

Time between these two frames is 267 ms!

So offside, but the lino had just checked his run in the first frame and was looking across in the second.

I've always argued that a linesman's job is actually impossible. They cannot possibly be looking at the ball to know the exact moment when it is played, and yet simultaneously be looking straight across the defensive line to check for offside at the same time - there will always be a fraction of a second for them to adjust their focus. And, as proven here, a lot can change in that fraction of a second, especially if defender and attacker are moving in opposite directions to compound the issue. For that reason, I'm actually in favour of semi-automated offside calls, if they can make them work consistently and accurately. Not that I'm complaining today, of course!

Just accept it and move on. Celebrate a brilliant day's result. I'm sure we'll be on the end on something like that at some point during this season.

I can't say I saw it at the time, but their first also looks like it was offside. Jack is adamant it was and the replay looks like it was, although not a conclusive angle from what I've seen.

Can’t have been offside, as Naismith passed it to Marriott
