No it really isn't. It is sophisticated. Tactically far superior football. A mind game that is physically and mentally challenging. Every ball in a test match is important and significant.

Cricket at the top level might well be about tactics and mentally challenging.
As is football at the top level.
To think otherwise is very stupid.

Both sports at grassroots level is more basic.

However look at the flourishing crowds and interest in the One Day cup, fantastic.

The interesting thing is. Having the One Day cup at this time I think is ideal. Holidays , played on out grounds as well. If you didn’t play it now it would end up early season like the old B and H cup was which isn’t ideal

Absolutely. Perfect summer too which has really helped the competition and ensured excellent crowds.

Stokes playing for Durham has also been good to see.

Perfect anecdote to the influx of franchise greed in The Hundred.
