Anyone who has access through lineage to an Irish Passport I’d guess. I mean - what is the point of having a UK passport if you’ve access to an Irish one? They have more international rights and privileges - including the right to live and work in the UK - than anyone exclusively British in the British Isles than those of us born on the mainland. Does that not bother you?

Thanks to the Good Friday Agreement that includes those born in Northern Ireland I’ll add (entitlement to an Irish Passport) Wouldn’t you agree that makes those born on the mainland second class citizens in their own country?

I have access to an Irish passport and travel a lot.I have the documentation and paperwork but haven’t yet applied as not sure it’s that much of an advantage you suggest. I have suffered queues in both Switzerland and Portugal which I would have exited quicker with an eu passport but on my second visit to Portugal this year they had fixed the issue.

Interestingly (this was 25 years ago ) my Mother who refuses to get a British passport because the wording was different to what we got ( not sure it still is ) was going on a world the round trip which started to Hawaii ( landed in LA ) only to be told she needed a visa kept airside and had to go straight to Wellington. Would have been ok on a UK passport.I know that’s changed.

I went to Bournemenouth a couple of years ago for a brief hollibobs and trip to Durdle Door. The town centre and a lot of the beach/ sea front was full of migrants. He may live in Sandbanks but he's coming into to town to use restaurants, the gym and many other facilities. He sees what's happening and the changes in the demographics over the last decade.

Wankers like you, sitting in your ivory towers, retired, mortgage paid off, grown up kids, are very quick to play it all down as it doesn't and probably won't affect you and yours. People like me, still working with kids still in education, one of which is female, are the ones that are voicing concerns and being told we're racist bigots, by people that are so fucking out of touch its embarrassing.

I was back in Luton in March. It hasn't changed. We took a tour. Still has its good bits. Still has its shit bits. Was pleased that many of the shops in the Arndale had tenants. Felt safe and secure wandering round the town centre and Bury Park, Lewsey Farm and Ramridge End.

Thats why i was pissed at the new EES checks at the airport when we first flew abroad last Friday. If I were to try and walk through without doing it I would be stopped and punished. Ok, its a bit different but if undocumented people keep walking / sailing into these countries then the frustration is going to pile up.

This isnt going to end well. And as you said, until people have them on their streets they wont realise.

I live in an area where there are many HMOs. We have one right next door. Though it's vacant at the moment and on the market. Not presented any problems. People where I live just get on with living. We don't spend all day blaming everyone else for our woes. There are some very hard done by Luton fans. Perhaps they should look in that mirror...

My wife manages a charity shop. Some of her volunteers are refugees. She helps them feel part of society.

We're not mates. Not in the past. Not now. Not ever.

It's one. Living in a HMO. I think. Not allowed to work for pay. Rather than be isolated in a room wants to get out into society and feel useful. So he volunteers. Not to be confused with voluntary work. Improving his social skills and awareness. Also improving his English.

Do you have a problem with that.
