    Callum Marshall

Looks like he might be on his way from West Ham. Northern Ireland u21 international - the player that was rumoured on here a couple of days ago?? Had a decent season in league 1 for Huddersfield 2 years ago. Would seem like a very good signing if he’s progressed since then.

Deals done …I genuinely believe we have a crucial part of operation piss the league.
Working on a wide player….Yates and Cole unlikely to be around.
Best transfer window in a while in my humble opinion…

Told unlikely as champ clubs interested.

Not disputing but if it were me I'd come back and 'finish what I started' as it were.

As someone, presumably quite handsome, said further down the first few games he looked like a rabbit in headlights. After a spell out he went from strength to strength, wing-back, full-back occasionally, winger, without batting an eyelid.

If it were me, I'd want to come back into a system/club/personnel whereby I could start at the end of that last paragraph and see where I could get up to from there.

But then, I'm a middle-aged man with a lifetime of learning things the hard way to reflect upon. He's a very well-off, not even 21 year old, who presumably 'knows fucking everything' like all 20 year old boys do, so...

I don’t know for certain but not sure he gets loads of say..if Man City want him to play in the Champ then suspect that will happen.
I guess they saw an improvement last year and think he is ready for the next level.

Heard about this from a Hammers mate a couple of days ago, who was FEWMIN that they might be letting Marshall go.
He reckons Marshall will destroy League 1. Worth noting too that he was a teammate of Kodua when Wet Sham beat Wilshere’s Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup final. If he can get Kodua back on peak form too, bonus points.

No, but neither is Wells and he seems to suit the system we play better than any of our other strikers. I think ability to press, run the channels, get on the end of crosses is more important to the way we play than a target man type focal point. Of course if they could be a target that held the ball up AND do all the rest that would be amazing, a bit like prime Carlton Morris. But that seems a big ask in league 1!

West Ham say 172cm. I might be tempted to go with that, rather than wiki.

Yeah, but you can blame the artist formerly known as Harlow Star for that.

Especially if it wasn't his fault.

Maybe. I have to say I didn't check to see if that was recent information.
