Indeed. Burnham returning (having been an utter failure before) with a shiny new message. It's almost as though people have forgotten quite how shit this fella is. Mind you, I wouldn't trust any leader from any other party right now either. Sad times !
If you think that you are missing the point. They have already failed and they need to be gone. A new leader will bring more if the same but with variable focus. They are the party of benefits when they should be creating employment which not only reduces benefits but gains income tax and NI.
You are the one being laughed at. I said more people on benefits do not work than work. I made no inference about their being scroungers or otherwise. It was purely a matter of fact which you, genius, write down figures that prove I was correct.
Which part of maths don’t you understand, I’m making no judgements just stating facts. It matters not how many are out of work versus how many are unable to work the money to pay them benefits has to come from somewhere. They have to live and it would seem that taxes must cover it. Does it not then make senses that the government has to raise the money from somewhere. You just have an agenda that you are going to flog to death whatever anyone says. It’s not my job to devise job creation schemes and I don’t see this government creating any either, they just wanted to screw pensioners. Perhaps Burnham has some ideas. He better had if he doesn’t want the pensioners to bring down Labour at the next election. They are the largest group that use their vote.
Next time you want to have a dig at “benefits” do some research.

Promising speech, I can't ask for much more than that as a statement of direction. Time will tell though, I'm not encouraged by the people around him (lot of Blairite ghouls), and the right wing of the Parliamentary Labour Party will happily disrupt everything and crash the plane into the mountain rather than accept not being the pilot any more.
