Rooney was quietly pleased?
Professional jealousy? I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end...
I have very little time or respect for Wayne Rooney, but I have to admit that I found myself agreeing with virtually everything he said after the game tonight. Tuchel obviously didn't believe we were capable of scoring a second goal, and decided to park the bus, which handed the game on a plate to Argentina. If only he had selected Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Cole Palmer, and shown the bravery to attack. Sadly another manager who prefers to plays football with the handbrake on ! Harry Kane's post match comments were also very telling.w
Yeah I think the same. He was absolutely disgusted but not fully confident in how to talk about it because he was aware that that's not usually the way the TV does heroic England defeat analysis.
Maybe. I certainly thought the old managers (Clough,,Shanks,,Fergie,,etc) would not have liked the idea of sitting back on a goal. I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end...
