Even worse goal ratio than Calvin Andrew! Even Russell Perrett had more goals than both of them put together!

Are you basing that just on number of games played. If so, that is a flawed statistic.
Russ Perrett played 99 league games for us - only ten of those were as a sub. He finished the vast majority of the games that he started.
Cauley Woodrow played 67 league games but only started eight of them and didn't finish any of those eight. A lot of his appearances were five minutes or less.
Calvin Andrew played 55 league games for us of which 29 were as a sub. In a lot of those games he only played a few minutes. As with Woodrow, when he started he was often replaced so rarely played a full 90 minutes.
When a player only comes on for a couple of minutes it's difficult to "get into the game".
I can't be bothered to do the calculations but I suspect that Woodrow and Andrew would both have a much better minutes played per goal scored ratio than Perrett.
I'm not claiming that either Woodrow or Andrew was a prolific goalscorer - I am just pointing out that your comparison isn't valid.
One of Andrew's goals was one of the most valuable in the club's history - he scored the goal that beat Forest which set up the two games against Liverpool with the gate money and TV money that those games brought in.
You’re right that Woodrow had a lot of sub appearances, but the broader question is why not one of his managers here wanted him to complete 90 minutes at any point. He slowed the game down every time he was on the pitch: fine if we wanted to calm things down when a goal up, less so if we were chasing the game. Good luck to Woodrow at Wycombe, but I’m pleased to see him off our books.

I did not check out online. Just from memory. Perrett had 9 Goals (?) 99 games
Think Andrew and Woodrow 3 each over 100 games albeit lot of sub appearances as you say.
No matter if it’s not many mins, still very shocking as Strikers.
But that’s my opinion only.

4 relegations in the last 6 seasons. No thanks. The truth is simple. If it was complicated, everyone would understand it.

He has what must surely be a record for us if not for any club - he played 67 league games for us without ever playing a full game. Shayden Morris is almost half way there on 31.

Would of been better than all the strikers we tried last year. Good luck to him.
