With Oliver Lynch going to Port Vale does that mean the lad is now 6th choice striker .Saw he score a good goal for the u21 against kettering. Bloke behind me called it kanesque.

I don't think Yates and Woodrow will be in the first team squad. And I think we'll be signing a new first choice striker before August, with Wells and Cole as back up.
So I imagine we'll assess DG in pre season, but likely send him on loan somewhere, which is probably the best thing for his development

50p says he stays and breaks through into being a squad regular by Christmas. There seems a lot more chat than usual about youth getting its chance with us now, which seems to be led by Wilshere. As a striker, Gawel is leading the chat. You could well be right, but FIFTY PENCE says otherwise.

You definitely have to think he has the potential to leave Cole and Yates in his wake. Hopefully he will get a run in the pre season friendlies and successfully. There again it's a very low bar with those two.
