And yet the mugs still pay whatever is being charged. The more they're willing to pay "just want to watch my team/country" the more it becomes a rip-off for everyone. The phrase more money than sense springs to mind. And the trouble is, now that FIFA have experimented with these prices and still had pretty much full stadiums for the games, expect this to now be the norm here on in, ad infinitum.

To be fair the fans save for years to do a tournament knowing theh will get fleeced
