We have 3 world class players
Kane Bellingham Rice
Kane arguably the best striker in the world.
The rest of the squad is as average as we've had in a long time.
Is it enough to win a world Cup? Possibly. If we keep them 3 fit and find a way to get them involved as much as possible

I thought before the tournament started that Anderson and Rice both needed to be exceptional to give us that midfield control that we have so lacked against better teams in past tournaments.
Get that part right and it allows our creative players the opportunity to shine and protects our back four.
Both have been OK but nowhere near the level needed if we are to go deep in this tournament. There is still time for them to click but after four games they haven't really shown anything close to the potential I thought they had.
Without controlling the midfield I think we go out to the first decent side we play.

I'm yet to be convinced that they can actually play together, tbh. Anderson was very decent the other day, without Rice. Not so much tonight with him, albeit playing a different role.
