Scotland
Their "anyone but England" attitude means I couldn't give a shit and tonight's result is all they deserve 🤣Farige Bought For £5m
I care …I am very happy for Scotland to progress and support them (obviously not against England ). I have two Rangers supporting mates ( who don’t know each other ) who have both been to tournaments supporting England when Scotland hadn’t qualified. It’s about the Union for me …stronger the Nation.
Having said that I do want them to fuck off out of Boston now …😂😂 hardly any England fans here and can’t move for kilts 😂😂. Just kidding go they are decent fun…
It’s called rivalry. You never want your rivals to win. As for the Scotland football team. They haven’t had a decent since the 80s so no surprise they are struggling.
Personally I don't get the anti-Scottish hatred, just as I don't get their anti-English hatred. Even without any Scottish blood in me I want them to do well, just as I would the Northern Irish and to a slightly lesser extent, the RoI. With Welsh blood in me it's Wales over them every time though. Rivalry, yes, but hate? No. Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
i visited Edinburgh last week, my first time in Scotland. Things that surprised me: the pubs in the city centre are great; live music in some; many great historic places to visit. Very little mention of the World Cup, and the locals were all very friendly. The tram system works very well. We had a great 5 days, but I still want them to be beaten by Brazil; this is not hatred but just partisanship.
Edinburgh is one of the few cities in Great Britain that I have never visited - or even passed through. It is on my bucket list - as is much of Scotland as I've only been there a handful of times. Live justly, love mercy, perpetuate generosity, walk humbly.
They are already guaranteed at least third place - I think that a 2-0 defeat would still probably be enough to see them get through. Anything worse (or better, depending on your viewpoint) might mean that they struggle.
I saw a stat that said if you finish on three points with a -1 GD you have a 66% chance of going through, -2 49% chance and -3 33% chance. So you are probably right, we need at least a three nil Brazil victory.
